I’m Charl—a former software developer now journeying into AI safety. I’m interested in how intelligence shapes the world, how our tools shape us in return, and how to keep sight of what matters while everything accelerates.
But the work isn’t only technical. The ocean, mountains, travel, philosophy, and the difficult business of choosing a life all belong here too. Cerulean Works is where those currents meet.
I write to make my thinking visible, to find the other curious people, and to leave useful trail markers for anyone navigating similar terrain.
